W. Rick Duel Pe

Mr. Duel has been twenty years with the City of Chicago. He is the primary design engineer for Public Safety two-way radio communications, design engineer for two-way radio systems for the Chicago Police Department, Chicago Fire Department Fire Suppression and Rescue, and the Chicago Fire Department Emergency Medical Services. He built the Emergency Medical Services ambulance to hospital communications system for the City of Chicago and all hospitals participating in the cities EMS Trauma Radio program.

Mr. Duel Licensed by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation as a Design Professional Electrical Engineer. He has a Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering, Illinois Institute of Technology. He is a member of the Chicago Chapter, Illinois State Society, National Society of Professional Engineers.

Ten years with a Motorola Service Shop as a field service engineer. He attained Journeyman status with the IBEW Local 134. Five years with a General Electric (later Erickson, later Tyco, later Harris) two-way radio shop. He has been forty plus years as a licensed extra class amateur radio operator, W9XB.

Mr. Duel was knighted by Her Royal Highness, Princess Elisabeth of Germany, as a Templar Knight. He was promoted later to the rank of Knight Commandeur, KCTJ. Holds title of Sir recognized by the crown. view website..

Karl Kunsman

Karl Kunsman is the Chief Information Officer and Founder of Arizona Networks. He is an accomplished consultant in computing infrastructure, business process automation and business data operations. Mr. Kunsman has over 13 years experience in the high technology industry with expertise in networking, storage management, network security, and application environments He has worked for major Fortune 500 companies in the National and International enterprise networking environments, including IBM, American Express, Intel and Chicago Title Insurance.

Mr. Kunsman has his own consultation company working with financial companies, manufacturers and internet service providers to ensure that their data and networks are in compliance, high in performance and secure. At American Express he managed key infrastructure network operations in their Phoenix facility this is the core network of American Express where all financial transactions are processed globally. He managed disaster recovery data links. Previous to that, He managed Honeywell’s storage array and data center business in Phoenix the primary work there was Department of Defense contracts along with research and development using advanced cutting edge technologies.

He has worked in the medical field as a psychiatric technician at Good Samaritan Hospital and others. He held the director’s position for a group home and shelter for disadvantaged children in this position he worked with the state of Arizona to meet the needs of the state and ensure the well-being of the children. Mr. Kunsman has served in the US Army Aviation Corps. He holds many certifications in many different disciplines of technology, as he is Certified as a firewall administrator, for SonicWall, holds a BrezzeCom advanced technical Certification in wireless Technologies. Rick Gibson

Investor, advisor, resource and deal-guy. Rick Gibson has had a 34-year career building businesses. He founded and co-founded several successful technology companies and has advised over (75) others. He is 57-years old. Since 2000, Mr. Gibson has served as Managing Director of HOTventures, a “mentor capital fund” for the Southwest U.S., which invests in and advises fast-growth companies, specializing in Information Technology, BioSciences “light”, GreenTech and Media. As an investor and entrepreneurial activist, he’s totally immersed in early-stage growth companies…finding them and making them great.

Mr. Gibson has been an investor, advisor or board member in: Aquarius Water, Avisere, Beamz, CopperKey, Flypaper, Funding Universe, High Throughput Genomics, High Spirits, Humshakal/Chakraa, Medipacs, Medsphere, MSDx, Octopi, Regenesis, StrongWatch and World Wide Wheat. Elsewhere, Mr. Gibson is a judge for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, and on the Angel Capital Association’s National Collaboration Committee. He is also on the selection committee for the Rocky Mountain Life Science Investor Conference. Mr. Gibson was an early shareholder in Bill Gross’ Idealab and founded one of its first companies, E-Ticket Inc, which merged with the Nederlander Organization’s RealTime Syndication Network to become FeatureCast Inc. Mr. Gibson served as Vice-Chairman. FeatureCast secured the online license for and executive-produced: Fox’s America’s Most Wanted, Teen Magazine and National Enquirer. Mr. Gibson participated in strategic planning with the ten original Idealab CEOs. Idealab is known for its creation and investment of several well-known technology companies including: Overture (acquired by Yahoo), United Online (was NetZero and Juno), Aptera, Internet Brands, CitySearch, Energy Innovations, eSolar, Desktop Factory, Picasa, Tickets.com, eToys and Evolution Robotics. Mr. Gibson co-founded GNP Development Corp and in 1986 they sold it to Lotus Development Corp for $10 million. In 1991, they co-founded Knowledge Adventure Inc, which in 1996 they sold to Cendant for $100 million. Knowledge Adventure became the world’s largest children’s CD-ROM edutainment software company (almost $400 million in annual revenues), owned by Vivendi-Universal, known for its ‘JumpStart’ (20 million units sold) and ‘Blaster’ series.

1986 through 1991, Mr. Gibson consulted to several software companies including Ashton-Tate, Que Software/Macmillan and SPSS Inc, and arranged sales of technology to Symantec, Microlytics and Paramount Publishing. Mr. Gibson directed a division of Ashton-Tate and was Chairman of 4-5-6 WORLD, a direct marketer of Lotus products. Earlier, Mr. Gibson directed national sales and or marketing and helped start or re-start: Fisher Corp, KLH, Ultralinear and Androbot Inc (the personal robot start-up by Nolan Bushnell, who founded Atari and Chuck E Cheese). Raymond B. Heath

Raymond B. Heath is a principal member of the technical staff at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM. He has a B.S. in Physics from the University of Tulsa and a M.S. in physics from New Mexico State University. Before joining Sandia in 1985, he worked 15 years in operations research at the US Army TRADOC Systems Analysis Activity at White Sands Missile Range. His areas of expertise include modeling and simulation of urban and rural combat, battlefield tactics and terrain analysis, school-business partnerships, science curriculum development, energy policy analysis, reengineering/process improvement, and systems engineering.

Mr. Heath has been a team leader in the development of large computer simulations. He has led corporate-level reengineering and process improvement teams, and has organized and coordinated joint, multi-site commodity teams between design and production agencies. Mr. Heath developed and coordinated the Sandia Science Advisors (SCIAD) Project for Albuquerque Public Schools, where 124 SCIAD’s supported teachers in 104 schools. He has consulted on school-business partnerships both nationally and internationally. He has applied judgmental analysis decision evaluation tools to quantify decision-making in many areas. Walter I. Heath, B.F.A., M.A.

Walter Heath is currently a technical consultant, writer, and educator. He was a practicing respiratory therapist for 14 years including Respiratory Therapist/Supervisor, Pediatric intensive care, and Blood Gas laboratory analysis at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago. During that period of time, he developed several modifications of existing equipment to enhance the ever-evolving new methods of treatment in that dynamic research oriented environment. He also designed several new devices to meet the demands of the constantly changing techniques used in modern intensive care units.

He is the sole inventor of a total of four patented medical products related to respiratory therapy, particularly related to humidification and control of medical gases. He supervised prototyping and limited manufacturing of the products, demonstrated them, and marketed them at trade shows and hospitals. He has a proven ability to offer a unique, creative approach to the development and design of new devices with a strong talent for innovation and adaptation. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Tulsa, and a Master of Arts Degree from Pittsburg State University.
